Summer School 2024
There are many reasons to take classes during the summer! Here are the two most common:
- As we all know, sometimes our plans don’t turn out the way we expect, and students need to take courses during summer school. Summer is an excellent to make up any credits lost during the school year.
- Another reason to take summer classes is to get ahead and perhaps even graduate early! Check with your school counselor as you may be eligible to have summer classes funded by Fast Forward/Advanced Opportunities (up to $225 per course).

Idaho Digital Learning Academy (IDLA)
Another option for summer school, which is the most popular among our students, is Idaho Digital Learning Academy or IDLA. IDLA is a state-sponsored, accredited, online supplemental program. It is similar in structure to Inspire; however, it is a different school, which means new teachers, rules, and operating system. IDLA has several courses available through their summer session, including dual credit courses.
