Graduation Ceremony June 2024
Date: Sunday, June 2, 2024
Rehearsal: Students MUST arrive at the arena by 11:45 AM Mountain Time for rehearsal. This is mandatory.
Ceremony: The ceremony will start at 2 PM Mountain Time. Families (guests) can enter the arena at 1:30 PM Mountain Time. Seating is first come, first served.

Extramile directions and parking
- Parking is free for all attendees to graduation.
- Check out the ExtraMile Arena website for specific directions & parking. Note: the website mentions a shuttle being available. There is not a shuttle for the graduation ceremony.
- There will be venue staff directing traffic as you arrive. The mains lots used for parking will be the East and West Stadium lots which are directly adjacent to the ExtraMile Arena and on the other side of Albertsons Stadium.
Professional photographer
JT Photo will take two photos of each graduate.
Flyers for purchase options will be given out at the ceremony as you enter the arena to sit down (along with a program) and afterwards in the lobby. All purchases are done online with several options.
- One is of them receiving their diploma from Principal McAlister on stage.
- One is a closeup (portrait) taken immediately after they walk the stage.

cap and gown
If you are attending the graduation ceremony on Sunday, June 2nd, you will need a Cap & Gown. If you do NOT have your black cap and gown and plan on attending the ceremony, please reach out to your school counselor today!

Can graduates decorate their caps?
Yes, absolutely! Just keep it appropriate.
Do guests need tickets to the ceremony?
No. Please make sure you have filled out the Application for Diploma Data View through the student account with estimated number of guests. This helps with ordering adequate amount of cake and beverages. You can also WebMail Mrs. Burke with any changes.
Will there be a photographer?
Yes, we have hired a professional photographer who will take pictures of your graduate walking the stage and receiving their diploma. His team will also take photos at a backdrop area we have set up. Mrs. Burke will provide information on how to purchase pictures through webmail and a flyer will be provided at the ceremony entrance with the program.
What is this backdrop you speak of?
We have a fun photo backdrop that you can take pictures in front of with family, friends, the graduate, etc.
How long is the ceremony?
Around 1.5 hours.
How many graduates will be at the ceremony?
At this time, we have 155 graduates that have RSVP’d yes through the Application for Diploma Data View.
When can families get in to their seats?
Students arrive at 11:45 AM MT for rehearsal; this lasts about 1.5 hours. Families are then allowed in to take their seats around 1:30 PM MT. The ceremony starts at 2 PM MT. Seating is NOT reserved, it is first come, first served.
Will there be any food provided?
Yes, we will have cake and beverages provided after the ceremony.
